The Immersive Resilience Score is a single value that measures your organization's overall cyber workforce resilience, giving you visibility into current capabilities, trends, and benchmarks.
What is the Immersive Resilience Score?
The Immersive Resilience Score is a single value that your organization can use to measure its overall cyber workforce resilience. The algorithm evaluates multiple factors using performance data from across the platform and lets you understand:
- Your overall cyber resilience.
- Trends and progress.
- Comparisons to industry and best-in-class benchmarks.
The Score gives you visibility into your organization's current cybersecurity capabilities and provides actionable recommendations to improve your resilience.
There is a common belief that people-centric cyber capabilities are not measurable. This may be true for legacy in-person training, but granular lab and exercise data tell a different story. The Immersive Resilience Score uses advanced statistical techniques to demonstrate that resilience can be assessed, benchmarked, improved, and proven in a clear, data-driven way.
Your score is personalized based on the current product licenses you have at any given time. This gives you the ability to see where in the platform your teams are most confident and where upskilling will have the most immediate return in terms of reducing risk and vulnerabilities.
Historical and recommended data sets are available, showing your progress over time and providing recommendations on what is increasing and decreasing your organization's score.
Anyone assigned a Managerial platform role can view their organization's Score in the top left of the main navigation menu, from wherever they are in the platform under the section Reports:
Individual users don't have sight of the Score.
As a Manager, selecting the Immersive Resilience Score in the navigation menu takes you to the Score's dashboard.
What does it consist of?
The Immersive Resilience Score dashboard consists of the following:
- Immersive Resilience Score – On the top left, you can see your organization's overall Cyber Workforce Resilience in a single score, out of 1000, along with a status (for example, Developing Resilience). If you don't use all modules of the platform, there'll be a note to say that your score is limited to X/1000 (for example, 800/1000) due to your modules.
To help you achieve resilience, the platform uses a four-step process that each module feeds into:
- Exercise: Use real-world simulations to evaluate and baseline team capabilities and decision-making.
- Benchmark: Evaluate cyber readiness compared to industry benchmarks and receive actionable recommendations.
- Upskill: Build capabilities across cybersecurity, engineering, application security, cloud security, and the broader workforce.
- Prove: Demonstrate risk reduction, resilience, and ROI to your board, regulators, and customers.
- Platform modules – The Platform modules area shows your platform coverage. Full coverage lets you build resilience across the entire organization.
- Progress over time – This graph lets you baseline performance and track progress over time.
- Benchmark – The Benchmark area lets you compare your organization to benchmarks and best-in-class performers, including organizations with the same platform modules as you, as well as those who use the entire platform to build resilience.
- Negative factors and positive factors – This section lets you understand both the negative and positive factors that affect your organization-wide resilience. From here, you can assign labs and schedule exercises to improve resilience. In the positive factors area, you can view results, reports, or assessments that evidence your resilience in the areas listed.
