If I joined the exercise, but were not active in it, will my time in-exercise still be counted?
Yes, active time in-exercise will count for as long as a participant is connected to the exercise.
However, if multiple participants of the group are connected to the exercise at the same time, (e.g., between 1pm and 2pm), then your group's active time will be recorded as the time of one participant (i.e., one hour in this example).
Can users without a platform license participate in an exercise?
Yes. With Team Sim, users without a license can participate in the exercise.
However, to do so, participants need to register and be able to sign in to the platform.
Contact your Customer Success Manager if you'd like unlicensed users to participate in an exercise, or contact Customer Support.
Once an exercise ends, will participants be able to see the debrief?
Yes, once a Team Sim exercise ends, participants get to see the debrief.
The debrief contains the solution for the simulation and this is why it is only available to participants after the exercise ends.
Team Sim Managers can view the debrief before, during, and after an exercise.
Where is the After Action Report (AAR)?
After Action Reports (AARs) for Team Sim are available after an exercise has ended.
To access the AAR, select the exercise, and then navigate to the performance tab.
Individual participants have access to an AAR for their team/group.
Those assigned the platform role Team Sim Manager have access to an overall AAR, which includes data for all groups and participants.
Why is an After Action Report (AAR) not available?
Reports are only available once an exercise has ended.
If all participants have completed the exercise, end the exercise (by overriding the end date previously set), in order to access the AAR.
To do so, select the exercise, select the three horizontal dots to edit the exercise and set the end date to the present. For details on how to make changes to exercises, see Managing a Team Sim Exercise.
