What languages are available?
The following languages are currently supported by the Immersive One Platform:
- English
- German
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- French
- French (Canadian)
- Italian
- Japanese
Future developments may include extending the languages covered.
Note: Because of technical limitations, the contents of a virtual machine in our technical labs cannot be translated at this time.
What is translated?
The main navigation menu, as well as the details pages of lab collections, career paths and individual labs are all translated.
The translation also extends to the briefing panel, inside the labs.
How does the translation work?
Find the feature on the right hand-side of the main navigation menu, next to the search icon:
When a preferred language is selected from the dropdown, the platform will remain in this language when you next log in.
The translation is done using an automated, machine translation service. As such, there are some limitations: we are not able to overwrite translated content and replace it with an alternative.
How do I report an issue with the translation?
To report an issue with the translation, contact Customer Support and provide as much detail as possible.
Please be aware that the translation is automated, and we cannot replace terminology with a preferred alternative.
However, where the translation provided is incorrect or does not make sense to native speakers, we can exclude specific terms or phrases from the translation. Once excluded, these will appear in English instead.
