Platform role required: Screening Manager
To create a job:
1. Navigate to manage in the main menu, and then, new job.
2. Give the job a title and a deadline for the assessment associated with the job. The deadline is optional.
We recommend that the deadline is not set for a Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday, due to our Customer Support team not operating out of core business hours, and so in the unlikely event that a candidate cannot launch the assessment, they could miss the deadline.
3. Add Recruiters to the job (optional). These individuals will be able to manage the job (i.e., add candidates, add other Recruiters, add assessment details and access results).
4. Select an assessment. To do so, select the view assessment button, or the assessment tab.
Either:
a. Choose an existing assessment from the catalog
Select an assessment from the list of assessments displayed in the catalog.
Select the preview icon on the bottom left of each assessment, to view the labs the assessment includes.
b. Create a custom assessment that is bespoke to your organization or job vacancy
- Select the add custom assessment button, at the top of the catalog.
- Add a title and description for the assessment.
- Select next and choose the labs that will form the assessment. You can mix and match labs between the different collections displayed.
Note: the content available for Screening Managers and/or Recruiters to choose from is based on the license assigned to them.
- To assign content, select each collection, then the add button next to the specific lab, and then navigate back to the selection screen by clicking lab selection in the breadcrumb:
- Select next, review and publish your custom assessment.
5. Invite candidates to the job. When the job and assessment are launched, an email will get sent out to the candidates added.
Note: You can add candidates after the job is already launched- emails will go out immediately at this stage.
Candidates do not need to already exist on the platform to be added to a job.
6. Launch the assessment. Select the launch assessment button in the setup area, or on the right corner:
Launching the assessment triggers emails to candidates added.
Note: the invitation email candidates receive contains a link - this expires after 7 days.
Hiring Managers are able to resend invitation emails after they expire, as long as the candidate has not successfully registered. If they have done so, Hiring Managers will not be able to resend the invitation. For more information see: resending email invitations.
