Updating Your Community Profile

After registering your account with the Community, we recommend that you update your profile to include an avatar image, share relevant biographical information, and invite peers to get to know you. The information that you provide is shown to others when you interact within the Community and when members click your profile, helping you form authentic connections within the cybersecurity industry.

To update your profile: 

1. Make sure that you are signed into your Community account.
2. In the top-right corner, click your avatar image.
3. From the drop-down menu that appears, click My Settings.
4. On the Personal tab, in the Personal Information group, specify your personal information. We recommend specifying your Location and Bio at a minimum.

5. You can change your avatar image, if desired. Your avatar is part of your community identity and helps other members see who they are communicating with. To do so: 

   a. At the top of the Personal tab, click the pencil button () next to your profile photo.

   b. On the Edit Avatar dialog box that appears, select an avatar from the collection collection of preset avatars or upload your own profile photo by clicking > Upload Image. 

   c. Click Save to save your changes. 

6. Click Save.
