Definition
Resilience Pathways is a guided way to plan and track learning across your organization on Immersive One. Instead of searching the whole content library and building programs by hand, you tell the platform what you want to achieve and it helps you get there. It recommends learning built by Immersive's experts, lets you tailor your own, and tracks progress as your teams go.
It's one product that brings several components together into a single journey. You'll come across a few different names, but they're all part of Resilience Pathways:
- Goals – what you want a team to achieve. A goal can include programs and team exercises.
- Programs – a set of activities for an individual to work through: labs, single-player crisis sims, and assessments.
- Guided Goals – ready-made goals built by Immersive's experts, based on current threats and common needs.
- Custom Goals – your own goals, built from a template or from scratch.
- AI Knowledge Pass – a way to have people prove their skills before they're given access to your AI tools.
Before you start
Resilience Pathways is available across plans, with what you get depending on your tier:
- Guided Goals and AI Knowledge Pass are available on every tier (from Labs Only upward).
- Custom Goals and the AI Program Builder are available on Core and Advanced.
There are no seat limits.
Guided Goals need no setup – you can start straight away.
AI Knowledge Pass uses a webhook that an organization admin sets up so that access to your AI tool is granted automatically once someone has proven their skills. On Core and Advanced, you can tie this to a specific AI tool and to your identity provider (IDP). At present, an organization admin assigns goals.
What you'll need to provide
- The outcome you want a team to achieve.
- The teams or people you want to include.
- For Custom Goals: the programs or exercises to include (choose existing ones, or build a program or crisis sim, including with AI, if what you need isn't there yet).
- For AI Knowledge Pass: your admin will need the details of the AI tool and the level of access each user should get.
What you'll get out of it
- A deployed, trackable learning journey mapped to a cyber outcome.
- Progress tracking from the moment you deploy, so you don't have to wait until activities are complete to see movement.
- For AI Knowledge Pass: automatic access to your AI tool for a user once they've completed the required program.
What you'll see on screen
You start in the Launchpad, where you'll see recommended goals and the option to view all available goals. From there you can use a guided goal, copy one as a template, or create your own. When you create a goal you'll move through a short wizard: choose how to create it, add the basic information (name, description, cyber outcome, audience), attach your content, and publish. Then configure how it deploys to your teams.
How to use a Guided Goal
- From the main menu, open Goals (or use Browse goals on the recommended-goals banner on your homepage). Open the Templates tab to see the ready-made Immersive goals.
- Click a goal to see its overview and the What's included tab (the programs and activities that make it up).
- Select Use guided goal. A guided goal is fixed – you can edit the title and description, but the rest of the content and setup stays as the experts built it.
- Publish. Your new goal appears under Your goals.
Good to know:
- A goal can contain multiple programs, and the same program can appear in more than one goal.
- Immersive's experts curate guided goals. You can't edit them.
- An administrator assigns goals to teams and participants. Tracking begins automatically as soon as a goal is assigned.
- Assigned users can see the goals they're working on. Managers and admins can see progress across their teams.
- If a guided goal is no longer relevant, you can unassign it to remove it from your active progress view.
How to create a Custom Goal (manager and admin permissions)
On the Goals page, select Create goal (top right) to open the create wizard.
Choose how to create your goal: use a template or start from scratch.
-> Start from scratch takes you through each step and lets you set everything up yourself.
-> Use a template starts you from one of the ready-made Immersive goals, with the content and settings already filled in. You only need to give it a unique title and description, and change anything you want.
Add the basic information: a goal name and description (these must be unique), the cyber outcome it supports, and the intended audience.
- Add your content by attaching programs or team exercises. If the program or crisis sim you want isn't in the list, you can generate a program with the AI Program Builder, or build a crisis sim manually or with AI.
- Publish your goal. It appears on its detail page and under Your goals.
- Configure deployment: set your time frames, how past completions are handled, self-enrollment, and the teams you're deploying to.
Using AI Knowledge Pass
AI Knowledge Pass lets you make sure someone has proven the right skills before they're given access to your organization's AI tools.
It uses the same goals-and-programs structure. When a user completes the specific program tied to it, they receive a certificate and the platform grants access to your AI tool automatically.
Your organization admin sets up access using a webhook, configured for a team or individual, the AI tool, and the level of access that user should have. The webhook signals your identity provider (IDP) to provision access to tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
You'll find AI Knowledge Pass through Goals in the Launchpad.
The platform grants access on completion of one specific program (not a combination of several programs within a goal).
Good to know: you may also see a lab collection with a similar name. A collection lets people work through the content, but it doesn't include the automatic access step and isn't tracked in the same way. Use AI Knowledge Pass via Goals if you want the access and tracking.
The six cyber outcomes you can align a goal to: Detection and Response · Compliance Evidence · Modern Enterprise Security · Cyber Ready Workforce · Security Adoption · Third Party Resilience.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| I can't find AI Knowledge Pass – I only see a lab collection | Open it through Goals in the Launchpad rather than searching. The collection has similar content but doesn't include the automatic AI-tool access step. |
| The platform didn't grant access to the AI tool automatically | Check that your org admin has set up the webhook and that the user has completed the specific program tied to it. |
| I completed several programs but access still isn't automatic | The platform grants access on completing one specific program, not a combination of programs within a goal. |
| I'm not sure where to start | Start in the Launchpad and use a guided goal or a template – these give you a recommended starting point. |
| My goal is still in draft | Choose a cyber outcome and a guided goal or template to get moving. You can tailor it afterwards. |
Limitations
- You can't set custom success metrics against a goal yet.
- You can create a program with AI, but you can't create a goal with AI yet.
- AI Knowledge Pass grants access based on a single specific program, not a combination of programs.
- You report through your goals and programs right now. We're expanding broader reporting.
