System Requirements Guide

To use the platform, you'll need a supported browser, access to specific domains and ports, and a reliable internet connection.

Browser requirements

Access the platform using the latest (or penultimate) version of any of the following browsers:

• Microsoft Edge
• Safari
• Chrome
• Firefox

Accessing the platform

Organizations should allow access to some domains to ensure connectivity to all our operational services. Allow-list the below:

• *.immersivelabs.online
• *us.immersivelabs.com
• community.immersivelabs.com
• imlbank.info
• johnderayo.xyz
• *.snaplabs.io
• *.access-snaplabs.io

Make sure to add *.immersivelabs.online to the list of sites allowed to use third-party cookies.

Other requirements

• While any internet connection will allow the platform to work, a fast connection gives you the best experience.
• If you're likely to have many concurrent remote desktop connections, you may need to check your connection can handle it. For example, 50–100 concurrent connections require a 25Mb line at a minimum. This is most likely to matter if you're running an organized event.
• Parts of the platform are optimized for mobile use; most of our practical labs are only suitable for use on desktops/laptops with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels and above.
