Platform Updates
Enhancement: Clarity & Confidence in Assignments
We've made significant enhancements to the Assignments feature to improve clarity and confidence for both managers and learners. Recognizing that assignments are crucial for directing learning and measuring resilience, we've addressed a range of issues, including bugs, and inconsistencies. Managers will experience a more intuitive assignment creation process, with clearer visibility into assignment activity, ensuring their configurations are accurately reflected. Learners will benefit from accurate action lists and clearer communication of manager expectations. This update also lays the groundwork for future Programs functionality by ensuring a stable and reliable Assignments foundation. We've focused initially on Lab Content Assignments, aiming to reduce support tickets and increase overall confidence in this core platform feature.

Immersive Labs
Quantum Computing
In response to the rapidly evolving landscape of quantum computing, we've added a new lab collection focused on this cutting-edge technology. This collection includes eight labs, blending theoretical understanding with practical application. Users will find three labs dedicated to foundational theory, followed by five hands-on labs. Notably, the final lab provides an opportunity to interact with a real-life quantum computer, accessible through AWS or Azure. To facilitate this experience, we've implemented role-based access control to ensure users are directed to the appropriate Rigetti quantum computer, and added quantum workspaces to the pool of user accounts for both Azure and AWS.
TypeForge
We've introduced a new lab collection, TypeForge, designed to boost typing speed and accuracy for all users. This collection consists of 10 progressively challenging labs, culminating in a demonstration lab. The idea is simple: improve typing efficiency through engaging, cyber-themed exercises. Whether you're a technical expert or an executive, these labs offer a fun and practical way to enhance your fundamental typing skills.
Crisis Simulation
AI-pril Fools: The Return of the Puppetmaster
We're adding a new seasonal crisis simulation, AI-pril Fools: The Return of the Puppetmaster, to our catalog. This simulation, which will be run as a live event on April 3rd before its official release, throws users into a scenario where the Puppetmaster leverages AI to disrupt communication and manipulate information. Participants will face a complex, AI-driven crisis, testing their skills in crisis communication, security breach management, and decision-making under pressure. This simulation is designed to enhance understanding of AI vulnerabilities and information warfare, offering valuable learning outcomes for all users across various roles and skill levels.
